What exactly is a winetag........

I've seen these in the past listed on ebay (at ridiculous prices), but I don't recall ever seeing them anywhere else. Does anyone know where they come from? I hate to pay for them if I can find some for myself.

I'm not sure which coupons in particular you are talking about, but I found some tearpads yesterday at Albertson's grocery store for $1 chicken wyb velveeta and rotel, $1 off chicken or pork wyb 1 Shake 'N Bake package and $1 off deli meat or cheese wyb 2 pkgs of keebler toasteds.

Oh man, I just came from Albertson's and I didn't even look for anything like that. I was looking for specific items so I just grabbed them and ran. I like the Shake N Bake one.

These were just $2 off any fresh meat . . . no required purchase or anything like that. This was the only time I've ever seen any like that.

those are normally winetags...some have state restrictions, some dont...you want the ones that say "nwpn-no wine purchase necessary" or if they are beer ones "nbpn-no beer purchase necessary"....winetags are the hangtag on a wine bottle....some times they are a tearpad in the wine section..

i have yet to find these elusive animals, but others have...and yes on ebay they go for near the value of the coupon

I got a few from Pubs this week. Winetags on wine. $2 off cheese & $2off meat. No wine purchase required.

I found $1 off any fresh pork coupons at Baker's (kroger store about a month ago)
I have been getting free/cheap meat ever since. Buying the smallest packs on mark down day.
Took them to fareway and got 1/2lb. pork sausage and italian sausage free last week.

I live in southern Indiana, which is a no beer or wine purchase needed state. I can never seem to find any winetags. What stores are these found in? The stores i have are: kroger, meijer, target, walmart, jay c (mine doesnt sell alcohol although others do), kmart, rite aid, cvs, walgreens, etc.

Of the stores you listed, I have found them at Kroger. I have also had luck lately finding them at Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods. I usually just cruise through the beer/wine aisles whenever I am in a store and see if I can find any.

most stores will have some at some times or another...it is really a hit n miss kind of thing...i have found some at krogers (laying on the shelf), schnucks (on the bottles themselves) and at cvs (only one of my cvs's not any of the other 6)....

i can never find the good meat/cheese ones...but i did find some $4 coffee (no alchol pur in illinois) at schnucks last week....

in the summer, i did find some $2 off cola at cub foods....i also have seen ones there for roses and flowers
