You want to ask your carrier, not the paper itself. I trade stockpile for inserts.
A friend of mine suggested it but I was wondering if anyone else has done it and how has the paper replied.

Years ago when I lived in MD (back in the 80's/early 90's) I made a deal with my carrier, I would leave $5 in cash in an envelope in my mail box and he would come back after his route and leave me a whopping pile of coupon inserts. Worked out great! It was a standing weekly thing. At that time I was involved in a non profit co-op preschool with my two kids and I served on various committees in the preschool and we were always finding ways to provide good snacks, juice for as little as possible. Those multiple coupons helped a great deal. And after I took what I needed, they got passed around to friends too.
You might want to check with your carrier directly if you can. I left a note for mine as he was always out so early, usually our paper was delivered by 5am. Just wrote him a note what I wanted to do and he just wrote back on that note it was a go![]()
Coupons are found money - who walks by money on the ground??

I wish I could find a source again for sure. I used to get 100+ from the local delivery guy but I had to meet him at the recycling center when he was going to dump them. I lost track of him and he really had a attitude about it anyway. DH asked him if he would drop them at the house weekly and we could work out a stockpile swap or pay him something but he refused. Good luck.
I had sanity once upon a time I promise. It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it

I have asked my carrier and they said they couldn't....they had to turn them in.
I missed getting the Sunday paper one time and went later in the week to see if there were any paper leftover...thinking maybe 50% at least...they wanted to charge me the FULL $1.50 for an outdated paper!! How insane is that? Of course I refused and left.
When i worked at cvs the guy that picks up the papers said all he needed was the UPC. We would end up with piles of newspapers. Dumb me never thought to ask my manager for the inserts back then! last year. i wasnt into couponing hardcore back then. Best bet is gas stations or neighbors that get the paper. There are people that like to just read the newspaperr hehe.
I call my paper on Monday and the girl sells me the leftover bundles for $.50 each. The bundles have anywhere from 8-30 inserts in them.
