There are people that like to just read the newspaperr hehe.
I've seen cashier tearing off the top half of the front page, I'm assuming that is what they had to turn into the newspaper folks for credit. I'll have to ask what they do with the rest of the papers next time I go in to the CVS, the cashiers know me pretty well and maybe I can collect a couple papers - that would be totally wonderful!!

As it is, the Raleigh News and Observer offers additional copies of the Sunday edition for only $1 delivered (anywhere you buy them it's $1.50) so I get three Sunday papers now but share with others. My SIL in Pgh doesn't get the Red Plum (RP does not distribute to all markets!) and she also doesn't get P&G! I can't imagine not getting all the inserts, so I mail some to her.

Hhhhmmm, going to have to ask the cashier what happens to extra Sunday papers, yup, gonna have to check that out

My stores also tell me they have to turn them in. As a matter of fact today I went and bought sundays paper because I was out of town sunday and wanted to see what I missed. It was full price for the Watertown Daily Times $2.25 for Sunday,
Then the other big city paper Syracuse Post Standard is $2.00. My sister delivers for a route that carries no coupons but does have the price chopper flyers I hit her up for her extras when price chopper does the double up to $3.00 coupons. Sure beats buying extra papers for those.
IVDSO: drink coupons!! Please Rebates NBPR for NY.... Anything new I haven't traded in a while please pm if you have forms. IVDSO OF Hellman's Mayo $1.00/1 pm me to trade

My manager threw all the papers in the trash! They may or may niot let you have them . or give you the inserts at some sort of discounted price. It really depends on the manager at that store. During the week id take the front page for credit and toss the rest. Sometimes it would be 2 weeks or more sometimes before he would ever come in to get papers and wed have tons. thats when he told us he only needs the upc. Easier to keep track of an entire front page though.

I stalked my the newspaper delivery person for the gas station at the corner and they told me they had to return the whole paper. That the news paper company sorts out what they can recycle and throws the rest away. I was like umm they wont let me have extra inserts either I called. Guess they prefer to pay for the recycle/disposal service

I asked my friend at Dollar General if she could save the inserts for me, and she said they only tear off the front and throw the rest in the trash! So she's been getting me 5 or 6 a week :) Definitely ask your carrier or someone at a store, it can't hurt!

As a side note, I was just up in Massena for the month of June visiting family And I'm sure glad Price Chopper moved into town up there! They finally have a grocery store that doubles coupons!

And ya, that Watertown Sunday paper sure is expensive

Yeah I told him whatever he needed I would trade for inserts but he just didn't seem interested. He told me he dumps the middle part with inserts and store ads. He gets credit for the rest. Sometimes if I'm lucky I can find the exact stop he dumped them at so I can carry them home. With the heat lately though I haven't been. We need some rain soon!
I had sanity once upon a time I promise . It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it.
