I think the Philly Inq stopped carrying the Redplum insert. The Wilm News Journal does still have redplum but like you said, it's super small and NEVER has the good Qs.
What paper carries the good RP and SS?
I had the hardest time finding coupons this morning at WaWa. I have been buying the Baltimore Sun in order to get the RP but this morning there were five copies and NO RP in any of the five only SS. So I thought if I can't get the RP I will buy the Inquirer. I checked five papers and no SS or any coupons at all in the Philadelphia Inquirer. So ok - I will just get the Wilm. News Journal. Checked many of those only to find a tiny RP and NO SS? What the heck is going on?
I ended up getting two Sun's just to get the SS but how weird is that. Anyone else have any problems?
The cashier was eyeballing me going through paper after paper......

The Gainesville Sun here had Redplum but no SS. The Florida Times had both Redplum and SS. Last week, the Sun had SS and P&G, but the Florida Times did not have SS, just P&G. Very strange

The Phila Inquirer stopped carrying Red Plum back in January. I went to at least three different stores this morning to get an Inquirer because the SS coupons are better than in my local paper. None of the Inqs I found had any coupons at all.

I get the Sunday Sun delivered to my home and there was a RP and a SS insert in there today. Maybe someone swiped them???
My home delivery Washington Post had both. We bought a double pack at the store and it only had SS. Same with last week. Now the WP in the next county always had all the same Qs in delivery vs. store copies. Since we just moved to this county, didn't know it was different.

I called the Inquirer this morning and found out the SS should have been in all the papers. I made it clear to the customer service rep that I am not a subscriber; I just pick up the Inquirer at the newsstand. She offered to mail me a SS booklet. I didn't refuse.

Urgent info for Oreonut or anyone else missing inserts this week: If you didn't already, grab some copies of today's (Thursday) Philadelphia Daily News! Since it doesn't publish on Sunday, it puts SS in following Thursday's edition (but no RP anymore -- affiliated with Philly Inquirer). Today's DID have it, & DE Wawas carry it. (Also had the McD's coupon booklet with BOGO's.)

Hey there, Oreonut, it wasn't just you -- I had almost the exact same problems as you finding newspaper inserts in northern Delaware this weekend, with one small exception -- all the Baltimore Suns I checked had only RPs, no SS's! (Hey, wanna extra RP for your extra SS?) I rarely post anymore (PC situation ), but I think we swapped some regional newspaper info in the past....(Sorry I didn't see this sooner -- I had a dental emergency that wiped me out last few days).
Anyway, the problems started Saturday, when NONE of the Bulldog editions of the Philly Inquirer (early Sat version) had the SS (I know they haven't carried RP for a while). Sunday, I checked Newark/Pike Creek area in afternoon, then New Castle that night -- I feel safe in asserting that NO Philly Inquirers in northern DE had any inserts this week. Did they think those fancy Best Buy 3-D cardboard glasses to see the 3-D Phillies poster made up for it?And it wasn't just some clerk snatching 'em either -- I checked several Wawa's, Happy Harry's and even Zingo's (small, local grocer somehow affiliated with SuperValu chain:shrug7:).
And then, ALL the Baltimore Suns I found only had RPs. As you pointed out, our Wilmington News Journal's inserts were pretty slim this week, so I grabbed Delaware County Sunday Times, NY Daily News (RP only) & even a Washington Post (HATE paying $3 for that at Wawa. :hectic1:) FYI -- Newark Post (very local weekly, but FREE!) carries WNJ's SS.
We'll have to do recon for inserts in northern DE this weekend....![]()

I know the Cecil Whig carries both. I get that and the News Journal so I make sure I get all coupons.
