Why are you asuming that person who would buy a product with a peele has to use this peele right away? Why do you think that only you have multiple peeles or coupons? If it would be your own store you can go and taped and untaped coupons, you are not employee by that store and have no rights to do so. What you are doinging it's unbelivable and hope that there only few people who is doingin this ( from my point of view) terrible things.
I'm confused - putting out a coupon for a product is wrong? I don't bring tape with me, but I do "fairy" a few q's here and there and just leave them on the shelf or directly on the products when I know I won't use them and they expire soon. I've seen q's taped to products before, and always assumed they were done by the employees, but now I know that couponers do it and am doubly thankful! A Q is a Q, be it peelie or otherwise, and finding one on a product you intend to buy (and don't already have a q for, or yours is less value than) is always a smile maker. I like her style - she gets the peelies she wants, but doesn't just take them and leave nothing behind for the next gal (or guy). Personally, I only take peelies I'm using because I'm buying the items they're attached to, because that's how my conscience works. Others work differently. Hers makes good sense, even if it's different than what I would do. And her grocery store knows about it and is accepting of it. Sounds like permission to me! And on top of that, I am one of those people that's sad when I go to buy something (usually a much needed item, that doesn't readily have Q's, or some last-minute item that I didn't think to get a Q for or didn't remember I was getting until I was already at the store) and it's obvious there was a peelie (no matter how skimpy, a Q still saves SOME money) that was "taken". At least if I'd shopped behind the OP I would've had some type of Q to use. That's my two cents, and even at that low rate, it's still valuable (I'd pick them up off the ground, and have done so all my life, even gigantically pregnant and barely able to bend over).
There's a special checkout lane for every other instance, why not one just for couponers? Driver carries no cash - I don't need any if I use my coupons right! Once a stockpiler, always a stockpiler. Will work for coupons - then I can trade them for ones I can use to get free food on doubles day. LISTS http://hotcouponworld.com/userlists/firefly779

Well, they need to get a life. JMO

My own thoughts are, whether anyone takes 'em, doesn't take 'em, buys the thing, doesn't buy the thing, uses 'em, doesn't use 'em, it's not that big a deal. Each person should follow whatever rule their own conscience dictates about the matter, and leave it to others to do the same.

I was at Walmart last week...and Walmart had put some Uncle Bens rice on clearance..cause all the peelies stuck to them had expired.

Those were great peelies...which I had seen them before they had expired

If the peelie is expired, the rice is probably expired too. We use to get these things in our house like moths, and I would clean cupboards and spray and nothing could get rid of them. At the time, we were getting a lot of food from the food banks. One of the staples they use to give us was rice.

When we started doing better finanncially (I went to work), we stopped going to the food bank, cleaned out all our staples, and the moths went away. They weren't really moths, they were coming from the rice we had gotten from the food bank. I opened one of the bags and I could see some of them too. We had also gotten peanut butter with bugs in from the food bank.

Also, I'm not confortable taking peelies from products and won't do that. My opinion is they are part of the product. There are also times when the peelies has been on the product and I have a better or equivalent coupon with a soon to expire date that I choose to use that instead of the peelie - I then put the peelie in my coupon box to be used later if needed.

Come on. If you're only taking a couple...and doing something to help the person buying the product, that's your prerogative.

I think it's a better position to do what you feel is right and not judge others.

Ugh, those are kitchen moths or pantry moths. We had them once too and they got into everything, including closed boxes of cereal. It took us forever to get rid of them.
