i was hoping all was good also...but... our st pete times had no redplum...lmao... we are in seminole
Okay, so I know the St. Pete Times is/was having issues with NewsAmerica and were not putting inserts in certain St. Pete Times (including Manatee County edition).
So, we switched back to the Bradenton Herald even though their coupons are less in value and quantity. No problem.
Until today.
My DH bought 12 copies of the BH from 2 different Publix locations. Absolutely NO SS coupons in any of them.
He also bought 2 St. Pete Times just to see if the problem had been resolved. No SS there either.
Anyone in Manatee or Sarasota get SS in their BH? If so, was it home delivered or store bought?

Yesterday I bought 3 Miami Herald. None of them had SS either. Plus only one Parade had a coupon for Polident, two others had an article about Lepitor on the place where Polident coupon supposed to be.
I'm in miami, fl and I did get my SS today. however, I didn't get p&g. weren't we supposed to have gotten this one today?
yeah, we got a p&g in both papers

I'm really irritated. The new newspaper guy called me & said that there WERE Samrt Source/P&G/Redplum in the paper so I put in my order for 200. I got 200 papers of Redplum & P&G but NO SMART SOURCE I could have spent the same amount of money & gotten less papers but gotten ALL of the inserts from my local paper. I'm pretty ticked off b/c this weeks Smart Source was a really good one.
I ordered the St. Pete Times AND the Cirtus County Chronocal both wiht no SS.
Gainesville Sun had all 3.

I emailed the director of advertising at the BH and he said they are having problems not receiving enough SS inserts, so they are putting them in home delivery papers first, then putting them in the other papers until they run out - no rhyme or reason on the ones in stores or in boxes.

truly amazing the newspapers can't get enough... you sure can find hundreds of them to buy (and in those quantities too!) even on this site!
