There is no need to throw coupons away. There are plenty of military families overseas that would do anything to get their hands on them AND they can use them up to 6 months AFTER they expire. There is even a forum on this site for doing this. It's very easy, takes only a little time and not much expense either, all for a good cause.
I'll clarify what I meant. I only get 1 insert or none. So, when I get one insert, I clip what I might use and discard the rest. Those who get a higher volume of inserts certainly have choices beyond throwing them away. Military as mentioned, or plain ole ROAK. With my only having 1 or none, I doubt my supply would be much help to anyone.

Well, you have 5 insert "early peak" sites, someone mentioned "coupon preview" and I have 2 sites. I wonder if this is 8 different ones? I'm sure mine are pretty well known or I'd not have them.

maniac I have enough sources for what's coming in the Sunday paper, actually 6, so I'm good. Where it says "coupon preview" below is an actual link to one of the preview sites. It sounds like you doubt this so feel free to check it yourself. When I wanted to show the OP these sites exist that's the first one I saw under my "coupon" section under favorites in my browser.

Whether it's 1 coupon or 80 that are being thrown away they eventually add up, just like your coupon savings, and it's still a shame to throw them away when they could help someone else, a lot.

You make several references in your first reply about them going in the "trash" so it sounds like there's not much hope for convincing you but hopefully others will be more receptive to sharing even if there's no tangible benefit to themselves.

    Have a good evening.

    sharing is not even questioned.
I do not have time to list by name and expire date, all the coupons in my single insert, most of which are non food.
(as I try to use the food ones for myself - hope that does not make me greedy)
week after week in case someone in another land could use a coupon or two. I'm not able to afford postage for ROAK.
Millions of inserts across this country get thrown out by the newspaper companies every week. I know as that used to be my source, they threw them out by the bundles.
You need not be concerned about my single insert if and when my neighbors decide to give me theirs. I do not buy a newspaper, it's a luxury item.

I agree it may be cheaper to just trade pphf for the coupons you want.
I am so far into couponing and live alone and stick to food and have 3 freezers full, I am basically not finding much I can use each week until my stock goes down. However, even when I am needing coupons, I find that most of the insert ends up in the trash can, so why buy any from Ebay.
I just pick out the coupons I can use and come here or other coupon site and place an (iso) thread. You can expect to have to trade anywhere from .01 per coupon to maybe .05. I never pay more, or rarely do.
Cheaper to trade for 10 coupons for $1/1 xyz cereal than to buy 10 copies of the insert.

Coupon values are very regional. I throw away $1/2 whereas I can use .75/2 or I throw away $1/1 and I can use .75/1. In fact some times a .50/1 is worth more to me than a $1/1. Because I can double or possibly triple the .50, and rarely able to double the $1/1. There are some areas of Pa. where some stores always double $1/1. So, if they get the .75/1 on xyz item and I have the $1/1, then they have what I need and I have what they need. They save more by doubling my $1/1 and I save more by doubling their .75/1, so I look for such trades. Just post a (iso) or a (have) and trades will usually happen.
Unless you are going to get enough of each coupon to be able to offer people 10 of each, it may not be worth your while, probably to do any trading with what you have. I want trades to be at least 10 coupons for my stamp. If you only have 5 of a coupon, that is normally not worth my while, to trade you pphf and a stamp. I'd look for someone with 10-15 of that coupon. If you are going to be someone with 5-6-7 inserts a week you may be more of an (I'm in search of) than a (I have for trade) trader. Sometimes you might luck into a trade where you have 5 of 3 different coupons that some one wants. You can post all you have in a thread on the trade board. I used to get any where from 1-35 inserts week and lost my source. Now, I get one or none. I just go to the sites that tell me what the inserts will be, look it over, find something I can use and come here to trade for what I need. And beware there are fake and phony coupons on Ebay. I'd be leary of using Ebay unless the person has some good feedback.
My goodness, if they are that useless, raok them instead of throwing them away!! Want my address?!?!

If anyone wants the coupons I end up not being able to use, mix of food and non food, pet, baby, you are welcome to send me a couple stamped self adresses envelopes and I'll send every couple weeks. Don't be disappointed is I only get inserts 1 or 2 times a month. It's only when my neighbor gives me theirs. I wish I could afford ROAK postage to everyone but I can not.
