I don't have any info for you, but I want to wish you well in reaching your goal to stay home. I homeschooled my now 20-something daughters and wouldn't trade that experience for the world!
Hi everyone. I have a question. I am not interested in competing with the bigger coupon clipping sites, so let me first put that out there. But, I am trying to get these financially figured out so that I can stay home and not work. One of the things I am really interested in is selling a few lots of q's on ebay. I was wondering if there is a source for the inserts. It doesn't make sense for me to go and buy 50 papers or some such thing ( I could but the cashier would think I was nuts and I would have to go to several places to get that many.) I have seen people refer to when they get there inserts from there source. I have googled and can't find info on any source. Like I said I am not interested in a store or a huge operation. I just want to supplement a little. My goal is between swagbuck, mypoints, all of the surveys, cutting the grocery bill in half (after stockpile is back up) and many many many other frugal living changes, to be able to squeak by. If anyone would pm with how to go about finding a source for the inserts other than buying them from all the stores and gas stations around, please please help me. It may not even be worth it for me to do this. I just really want to check into it, run some numbers and see if I can add to . My eventual goal is to have multiple small streams of income. Yard Sales, consignment, ebay of other things, surveys, cutting back electric, cooking at home more, etc.......
Thanks guys.
If anyone has any other ideas, those would be welcomed, too. My goal is to figure this out so that I may stay at home and pull my kids from public school and homeschool them. So anything I can do at home. Thanks.

Oh, and I am not sure if you spend any time contacting companies, but if you go to their websites and let them know you like their product, or even if you have had a problem with a product let them know, and they often send free coupons and at least probably 75% of them send coupons. It adds to the savings.
A lot of people also sell extra stockpile items to friends, family or even at yard sales and flea markets. some people have found sources to trade stockpile for fresh vegetables and other items.
I don't have a lot of advice but you could go dumpster diving. It is not reliable though especially in the Winter when it is so cold and people don't go there as much. But it is a back up plan to go with whatever else you decide to do. I pray you find exactly what works for you and you will.![]()

I think I saw on a forum that some people get to know their newspaper deliver person and ask for the left over papers.....
Also. I don't know how much you need to make per month but I do tons of on-line surveys per month. I usually make about $250-$300 per month doing them. It's time consuming and sometimes tedious....but it does help. I quit my job about 2 years ago to be home with my kids. It was a huge adjustment financially but i can honestly say, it was so worth it! I made a lot of tweaks to our spending and we are actually doing better now than when we had more money. Good luck to you.![]()
I don't know how to get extra inserts but I do have a suggestion as to how to find out just how much money you will need to stay the same financially as you are while you work.
I sat down and figured how much it actually cost me to work. Needed another car, had a payment, gas to and from work, added insurance for 2nd car, clothing expense per month, added lunch money, daycare etc. Figured ALL expenses I had for working. Then took into account my take home paycheck and deducted my expenses. I found that it was cheaper for me to stay home. Quit my job in the 80's and didn't look back. I wish you tons of luck.

Used to be that you could do that, or go to the gas stations or drug stores and make friends with the workers to pick up their extras. Last time I talked to one of the managers, he said that they were not allowed to throw the papers away or let anyone take them anymore. The newspaper co. was actually collecting them.
Between that and half the coupons only coming in the mail (P&G and smartsource?) it's hard to get duplicates.
Check with your neighbors, friends, and family for the coupons they don't use.
Good for you for wanting to stay home!
We can dumpster dive here but it's been too cold to go. I wish spring would arrive so I had extra q's to use. Great place to also find coke codes and btfe. I wish you luck in your journey to stay home.
