The times is crap, sign up for the trib. Had nothing but problems with the Times myself.

I buy from a street vendor and there hasn't been a Smart Source in my St. Pete Times the last 3 weeks. Last week he told me that the contract w/ SS hadn't been renewed, but that they were still "negotiating". I get the "Tampa Edition" paper from my vendor, but on another site that I frequent, a member gets her SPT in Pasco County (and it does not have the words, "Tampa Edition" on the front). This past Sunday she purchased her papers at a CVS in PC and it had both inserts.

For the past 3 weeks, I've purchased copies of the Tribune to get the SS insert.

Same here. I was told that the home delivered and the street editions no longer have the SS inserts but it is still in negotiations. I will be putting in my complaints as well.

My sister and friend in Pasco Cty have had the same issues. I'm in Hernando and have had the SS each week.

I buy the St Pete Times in pinellas and have been missing the RP a few times over the last few weeks. However, I've gotten everything I was supposed to the last two weeks. We usually buy on the street, too. I got both SS and RP yesterday from the street. This is just odd. I really don't want to buy them in store since you don't have to pay that extra tax when you buy on the street.

That's soooo weird. In Pasco, the Times is 1.00 and the Trib is .50.

I have a hook up. Yesterday, I got 20 inserts for 3.00. The sale day was almost over. And no missing inserts either.

I buy the St. Pete times here in Ocala. For the last few weeks, we have only gotten the RP, no SS. The local Star Banner had both but often they are a smaller version of the SS and RP. I never buy the Orlando paper but I did this Sunday to check it out and they didn't have either insert...what a waste of $1.50! Anyway, I am going to contact St. Pete times to complain.

I get the home delivered St Pete Times even though I live in Manatee county (the Bradenton/Sarasota papers are terrible for coupons). I periodically have a missing insert so when I had my SS missing last week, I just went online and requested a credit to my account for the paper (like I normally do when one or both are missing). Yesterday though, I did get both.

Interesting..... :hectic1:Would you mind sharing the general area in Pasco County where the SPTs are $1 so I can avoid getting them there? I plan to venture out to PC next Sunday (as I live very close to the line) to purchase some papers there.

In your area, does the $0.50 Tribune contain all of the inserts, typically?

BTW, I have a bit of a hook up, myself.... Let's just say that it has been well worth it for me to continue getting the SPT from my vendor the last 3 weeks.............and I haven't gotten one SS insert.
