Has anyone tried to compliment a grocer for gift cards or anything?
Thanks to all of you ladies for the tips of compliments to manufacturers. I have received so many coupons and free samples from various manufacturers. I thought a step further and wondered if anyone has any feedback regarding sending a compliment to a grocer or other store (ie. Schnucks, Dierbergs, Walmart, Walgreens, etc.)? If they would provide a complimentary gift card. I know I've had issues in the past with Best Buy and had to complain (legitimately) and have been given $100 gift card for my inconvenience (it was a big inconvenience by the way) and they fixed the issue.

I've complimented grocery stores on great customer service, product variety, etc. and have never received anything besides a phone call to say "thanks for the compliment". However, I sent a complaint to Bi-Lo about some gross yogurt and they sent a $2 check to cover it.
