Getting a bit agitated in Mid TN

Why is it that middle TN seems to get the short end of the stick on coupons? I see these great deals that members post , for example on an HT deal for triples it said
Viva Big Roll Paper Towels 2.49
.85/1 10/11 SS = FREE
When I went to 10/11 SS, my coupon is for .60! Sometimes the coupon is not part of the insert at all, it just seems to happen more often then not. Does anyone know why this is so??? It is just flat out frustrating!:sad:

There are different coupons and different coupon amounts in different markets. That's where trading can really come into play in a good way.

Like Tess said above, different regions get different value coupons, and unfortunately some areas like small towns get hardly any coupons in their inserts. The values can vary greatly from one paper to another even in the same area.

This is where trading coupons comes into play. The main purpose of the coupon database is so that you can see what different values of coupons are out there so that you can trade for the values you need for the promotions and sales in your area. For example if you have double coupons up to $0.50 a $0.50/1 coupon would be better than the $0.75/1 coupon that you got in your area. Where someone that does not have doubles at all (LOND = Land Of No Doubles) might want that $0.75/1 coupon instead of the $0.50/1 coupon they got. Of course you do not have to trade the same coupon or the same coupon different value. But that is how it can work.

If you want to trade for the best values of coupons what you will want to do is know the promotions that run in your area and pay attention to the values that come out in the insert coupons, put the values that work best for you on your wish list. Also as soon as the sale ads are posted here at HCW, search the database and make quick trades for the coupons you need. If there are sneak peaks posted that gives you additional time to trade. But even if they are posted at the beginning of the week if you make quick trades with other members that are not too far away you should get the coupons before the sale ends. And then remember that if the coupons don't get there in time, you can try to get a raincheck so that you have time to use your coupons. Look for any variety or flavor that is out of stock and try for your rain check. So if Pepsi is on sale and they are out of Wild Cherry flavor, tell the cashier that they are out of stock on Wild Cherry pepsi and you should be able to get a raincheck.

And then don't give up....it takes time and you won't always be able to get every deal that others post about but if you can get something you need that is cheap (your paper towels with the $0.60/1 coupon tripled should still be a stellar deal I would think, not free but still cheap) that is a good deal still!
