Newspaper Inserts - How do people get so many?

I used to wonder how people got such massive amounts of inserts and I wanted to get that many too. But I have enough issues with my 10 papers a week. I seriously couldn't handle more. Some Sundays I don't even bother buying the paper. Keeping track of just my 10 inserts is a part time job in itself.

I buy only two papers a week right now. This sunday I plan to ask my store owner what they do with the left over inserts. Right now I just buy what I need from ebay or a coupon clipping site.

LOL I just saw some newspapers in our dumpster yesterday. But, I didn't dive in. I broke my right knee two years ago & thought maybe it wasn't a good idea. My DH probably would have done it for me had I asked him.

We still buy the Star-Telegram paper even though we don't live in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area. Lots of good coupons.

100 inserts is a LOT of work, part time job.

Recently I'm at about 30 to 40 a week & it's still a lot of work, I colate them all & that alone is a couple of hours. I trade inserts for stockpile with my paper delivery person. Used to dive, but have cut back on that..whole other work load sorting, etc.

Today I stood at Pick N Save with a handful of Ken's salad dressing q's, made it free...I have like 40 bottles, and was sick of looking at the q's so I passed them out to people walking by. It was hilarious! Some people said NO! Completely free salad dressing! No tax even! I laughed so hard! I left the rest of the q's on the shelf.[/quote]
Isn't it funny how suspicious people are! I often try to give people q's in the supermarket, my BF thinks some people are iscared & ntimidated that someone would GIVE them anything! Our hearts are in the right place

I usually buy 20 - 30 inserts on Sundays, but the Sunday paper here is only .50. We trade alot of coupons. Sometimes I buy from clipping services or on eBay...but it is a lot of work....but rewarding to get so many free items stock piled.

I dumpster dive for my extra inserts. We have several recycling bins in my area.

I subscribed to boston globe, but there is only one copy of coupon book inside. Sometimes i need multiple MFQs, is there any way other than buying multiple copy of newspapers?

There are people who offer whole inserts for sale--look in the HCW trader section. You can also trade or buy individual coupons from people on this site or buy them from places like Ebay. If you want to trade, HCW starts you off as a trader in trading. You can start off by looking at the coupon database and see who has the coupons you are looking for. HTH!
