| Re: Coupon printing ?? You can cut the coupon off and put the 2/3 of the paper back in. Then you can print one or two on that one as well. If there is 1/3 left, use that as a grocery list slip.
If you're following a link to an individual coupon, then it's most likely on a site with alot of other coupons. Check out smartsource.com, coupons.com and *********.com first or any other sites that list an assortment of coupons and see if there are any other coupons you might like to print out. They usually print 3 to a page unless there is some more "advertisement" at the bottom. You can still cut off the coupon part and use the back of the advertisement to print other coupons.

| Re: Coupon printing ?? Usually what I do is stop the printer que after I count to 10 so I don't waste ink on the ads that print on the bottom. Then I flip the page over and print a 2nd time. After I cut the coupons out, I use the middle piece for scrap paper. This is for individual coupons that print from bricks links. But....don't stop until you've made sure the coupon has printed! Once, I stopped automatically without looking at the printer and the ad printed first with the coupon on the bottom!!
If I'm using smartsource.com, I just have to let it run until all the coupons I've checked have printed. |

| Might be a crazy question, but... I just printed out my first online coupons from my computer. Yowzers! It takes a lot of ink!!! Not the coupons so much as those ads that come along with it. Here are my questions:
1. Is there anyway around printing the add? I noticed that the first 10 coupons or so came with 1 coupon and 1 ad to the page, but the last 10 or so printed three coupons to a page with no ads. Weird? Or Normal?:shrug7:
2. If I figure out somehow to make my printer only print with black ink (like, taking out the colored inks) will the coupons still be usable in black, white and gray?
Thank you so much for sharing any experience you may have. I don't want my coupon greediness to cost us a fortune in ink! Ha ha! |

| Re: Might be a crazy question, but... Yes, you can print in b&w. They will scan fine. Most of the time I print in B&W. I even use light colored copy paper too!!
As far as the ads....it just depends on the site you are using. If I'm printing from smartsource or coupons.com, I just let the coupons print. You're right, sometimes they print 3 per page, other times it may be 1 per page, so there's really nothing you can do.
Now, if you're printing from a bricks link (individual coupon that has a link) I stop my printer. This will depend on how long yours takes, so you may want to time it, but for me, I count to 10, look at my printer to make sure I see the top part of the coupon dashes, then stop the print que and I don't waste all that extra ink on the ads. Only once have I been screwed over stopping my printer without checking and only got the ad b/c apparently, the coupon printed on the bottom. So always double check your printer before stopping. |

I do the same thing - stop my printer after the coupon prints and then turn the page around and put it back in and print another - so I get 2 per page!
