We're not getting Red Plum inserts anymore!!??

I bought 11 Plain Dealers on Sunday and all of them, plus my delivered one, had SS, GM and PG inserts. I live south of Cleveland.

I haven't received this week's yet, but last week's mail had the ads in a Redplum folder that said look inside for coupons, but inside there were no coupons. :sad:

My weekly Red Plum mailing said in the corner that there were supposed to be coupons inside, but there were just grocery store circulars. I called the number and they said they were getting flooded with calls about it and hopefully we'll be getting coupons in the mail in Anne Arundel county next week. They gave me another number to call and I talked to someone about it not being in the Post. I'm grateful I can get the Baltimore Sun with the RP, but I subscribe to the Post, so I'm still not happy. Hopefully all of us working together can make difference! Keep it up guys!

RP's excuse for this would be that the PO is being lazy. This is yet another reason why the inserts need to be back in the papers.

I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS!!!! I just came in from getting my mail. Someone stole my RP!!! There is the outer "cover" that has the rp logo with $35 in coupons in the corner. All my sale ads are there, no rp. I am calling them tomorrow also, and I am also bringing this up. If they are going to mail them, you'd think they'd make them thief proof. Oh, that's right, they don't think. Sorry for the rant, just really po'd right now!! I need a drink!! Maybe I could afford to make one if I had the coupons from rp to get my oj!!

I'd offer you a drink but I'm too far away. No one got an insert today and no one will get inserts on Sunday because of the President's Day holiday. But you can still call to complain

Let me encourage everyone once again to call Valassis directly : (734-591-3000) If you like, ask for Bridget (who I talked to today), or do what I did DEMAND to talk to a real person and that you DO NOT want to leave a message. From what I learned calling the Pilot and then Red Plum back and forth today, it sounds like this is Red Plum's deal, not the papers. Newspaper sales are down all over and this is Red Plum's way of expanding--- of course, to us it not expanding at all- it's limiting! Please, please, please keep calling and emailing--- I actually cried over all this today--- it's so frusterating being told, "we'll call you back" (by both the Pilot and Red Plum) and hearing NOTHING back... Sigh.
