    Default Indiana coupons

I had been buying my local paper for coupons but I was extremely ripped off on the 1-4 inserts. Do the Indy star inserts have all the coupons in them?

i use to get the indy star for $1.75, it normally has the better coupons, but I now get the Greenfield paper becaue its only .75c and it doesnt miss out on too much, its worked out to be better and just as good coupons, i only found once that it was missing something that I wanted that was in the Indystar, but it does normally have all the inserts.

do you buy your papers at the dollar stores? they have the indy star for $1, also be sure to flip thru the paper before purchasing, I made the mistake of not doing t hat at the dollar store and they were missing some of the inserts one week. You can always take the paper back if its missing the insets, "i only purchase the paper for the inserts and they are missing in this one, can i find another that has all the inserts?" I have done that before when I found one of my papers were missing the inserts.

Yep, I always get the Indy suburb papers, too. Greenfield or Shelbyville (E and SE) have pretty much the same coupons as Indy. I recently heard that you can even go to the Shelbyville News office and just buy the inserts for 75 cents. If you can get them early or from past weeks...that would be really cool...I have to remember to check into that.

    Thanks for the responses.
I had been buying the Lafayette Journal & Courier. It's 1.50 but only 1.00 at Walmart. I would love to get the Indy Star for that price. Is it Dollar General or Dollar Tree that sells them for a dollar? I have not seen other Indy papers here but I am just now looking.

I have been picking up the Indy Star for about 1 1/2 months now. I have been really happy with it. I am pretty sure they have always had pretty much all the coupons listed in the larger list. I think sometimes the values may be a "little" different but most of the time the same. I haven't tried Dollar Tree yet. But may give it a try. Thanks for the tip on Dollar Tree. When I first started couponing I was buying Vincennes Sun Commercial, had mostly ads for inserts and Evansville Courier had a little more than Vincennes but only about half as much as Indy Star. So far as I have found Indy Star is the way to go.

    Hey Sissy Lyne...

We are from Lafayette too! Or round abouts.

I never get the J&C, it is so not worth the money! I always get the Indy Star. I have not found it at a discount yet, but you can buy it at CVS or Walgreens, and use ECB or RR. Just a thought.

Don't buy the J&C...I love them as a newspaper, but their coupons STINK! lol

Just the other day I seen you post about Lafayette in the Meijer forum. I told my hubby "look a Lafayette couponer!" Do you have trouble using coupons at cvs? I have so much trouble at sagamore parkway & 26th one.
