Q. What are the benefits of buying a Sunday newspaper?

A There are several benefits to buying the paper. First, in most papers, you'll find a physical copy of your store flyer. While these same flyers, can often be found online at the stores website, many couponers find the physical copy convienant to use.

Are the copons worth buying the paper? That varies from week to week. There are different insert coupons in the Sunday paper every week. Some Sundays you may find that you can either use or trade all of them. Other weeks, you may not be able to use or trade any.

Q.I have written to lots of places, but They send me an email thanking me. No coupons. Will I be getting a coupon ? Or did I just waste my time?

A It depends on the company.

Some email back, ask for my addy, and tell me they're mailing out coupons.

Some email back, thanking me for the email, and DON'T mention coupons, but they send them!

Some never email back, but send coupons to me.

And some...well...some just never respond at all.

And, you'll notice that different people get different responses too. I think it's just like any Customer Service department. It depends on who opens your email.

Q.I have some old NED coupons that are missing the barcode, can I still use them?

A As long as the exact products on the coupons are still available for sales in stores that accept coupons, they should still be good. The ones without a barcode will probably just need to be entered manually.
