printing multiple coupons

Do you have to have two different pc's to print multiples or two different printers. What is it that the coupon generator software recoginizes.......computer or printer? Thanks

I believe it is the computer since there are different IP (Internet Protocol) addresses.

A few times, I've printed the limit of coupons on my laptop, but screwed up on one of them (was using scrap paper and didn't realize it printed on the wrong side) so I connected my brother's laptop to the printer to "re-print."

We have 3 computers, but they all connect to the same internet, and each one must get the same IP when we log on, b/c I can only print once! :(

I think its computer ,because I print as many as I can on my laptop ,then switch to the desk top and print the limit there

That's my understanding, too. So I think it's MAC address and not IP address that's being tracked. When I set up my desktops on a different network later this week I'll test it.

I believe it is the IP address and not the printer. If your laptop and computer print to the same printer...you can do multiples.

Ahhh, probably the IP address. I print from home and my husband's office. And those brick coupons have a longgggg memory, too. :frown:

The printing software installs a tracking code on your computer so it is by computer not by printer. I don't think it is IP address. But perhaps if you share files via a network you share the same tracking code?

I print two from my computer and 2 from my husbands and soon I will be able to print 2 from the kids computer :)

We have a dell laptop and a mac laptop and if i print twice on one i can't print anymore on the other so I'm pretty sure it has to do with the wireless internet/ip address of laptop thing.
