Default What do you pay for Inserts?

I was wondering what others paid per insert in their areas or from people who have multiples of inserts.

I don't pay anything. I get tons of them free from work.

When I buy them in the Sunday paper I have to pay $1.50 per paper. But I've started dumpster diving for at least the Red Plum inserts. :)

Ok, let me clarify this. I am not talking about the cost of buying papers; I am talking about buying just inserts for a coupon service or an individual who has multiple of inserts to trade.

ahhh...thanks for clarifying that.

I haven't ever bought inserts from a service or person. I've traded coupons for coupons but that's it. :)

I just checked on a couple of websites and the prices ranged from $.45 to $1.25 and insert, with the older or hot inserts being more expensive.

I've never bought a whole insert before as I usually need lots of only one or two coupons from each insert and it's easier/cheaper to buy or trade for the couple of megamultiples that I need. I'd love to know the advantages of buying a whole insert, though.

NOVACAS is on a distinguished road
Default Re: What do you pay for Inserts?

I was wondering about the value of inserts myself. I'm lucky enough to live in a building with 12 floors w/ 2 recycling bins per floor and about 200 people so I certainly wouldn't buy any, but am not proficient enough to use half of the ones I get yet.

I'd love to trade some of these things, but at this point I'm not sure if it would be feasible to even put them all in a database w/o loosing my hair.

hmmmm, a buck would seem like a sound investment to me at this point though - especially if you have several stores in your area to find the deals etc. ..

Good question (wink).

Erlene checked also and she is finding them for 35-20 cents per insert. (depends if they are the week of or a week or so old)
Why would anyone pay 1.00 per insert when you could buy the whole paper for just a little more and have all inserts from the paper plus any other coupons like the ones in the Parade section.

What site did you find those inserts on Erlene? Thanks for the info
