I'm hoping someone will be able to help me. I can print from coupons.com, target.com, etc. but when it comes to Smartsource it is hit and miss and lately it has been mostly miss. Every time I try to print a smartsource.com coupon, my compter opens up the applet box, asks me to allow the print and then continually keeps popping up the same applet box over and over until I have to force a quite in Safari. Does anyone know why this would happen, and how to fix it? I tried e-mailing smartsource for a fix, but had problems finding a way to contact them.

Sometimes you just hit a malfunction somewhere between your browser, printer, and their coupon software. The only suggestions I have is to try it with IE or maybe restart your comp. Usually switching browsers helps...but other than that...sometimes you just have to accept that you may not be able to print all of the coupons. I can print about 95% of the time with my new printer, but with my last it was really hit or miss. And I have had java problems before...so you may try updating that.
Good luck...but unfortunately sometimes there isn't an easy fix.

thanks for the suggestion... i'll restart and see if that helps. just seemed weird that it used to work and all of a sudden now it doesn't. :)

still haven't been able to print the smartsource.com coupons
I think I may be at my wits end with it...
I made sure that the activeX control was enabled, that smartsource.com was listed as a trusted site, checked my printer settings to make sure they were on advanced... and still NOTHING
I guess the coupons I get from the other sites and paper inserts will just have to do...

Hi,

I had problems printing Smartsource coupons from one of my computers. All I received was an icon of the item offered on the coupon and nothing else. Finally I decided to hook up a different printer to this computer. Well, it worked and the Smartsource coupons now print out just fine. It was my printer this whole time.

I've gone thru the troubleshooting and I can't figure out why the coupons arent printing with a barcode...HELP!?

Well after nearly 2 hours hubby tosses in "check if your black is out".... I open up notepad type TEST and got a blank page.... /facepalm!

OMG I TAKE THE CAKE FOR BLOND AWARD AND MY HAIR IS ALMOST BLACK NATURALLY...i didnt check for tape covering my black ink cartridge when i installed it...BUT UR POST WAS WHAT SAVED MY LAST NERVE!!! lol thanks!!!

Can someone please help me I have not been able to print coupons for the last few days,It keep telling me i need the coupon printer,ive had the coupon printer for years now was able to print coupons with no problems until i changed printers now im using a printer/fax/copier.

I unistalled the copon printer as it says i need to install it but now it downloads just fine but when i go to install it it installs way to fast how can i slow it down so that it installs and works again???It did one time install the toolbar also but still says i need to install it,

On a side note it does the same thing on a different computer in the house just installs way to fast and that puter has never had the coupon printer before

I know I'm new, and I realize I'm just jumping in here and all, but here's what I'd try: uninstall your coupon printer, then reinstall it. (Control panel > Add/Remove programs > find coupon printer on the list; remove it; download coupon printer and install it again). Not guaranteeing this will solve your problem, but it's what I would do were I in the same situation. Also -- again, if it were me -- inbetween removing and re-downloading, I'd reboot my computer.
