I think it's done that way for a reason. I can't change mine either. If you don't want to burn color ink, put in an old color cartridge that is out, or almost out so it will only print with black. When my ink runs out, I just keep going. I went 3 months with only magenta and black. all the cashiers said I had the prettiest pink and black coupons :) As long as the black is good enough to do the bar code, they will still work. When the black gets too light, they won't scan. Use every last drop you can!

I like your idea very much, but my printer never allows me to use used or old color ink cartridges. If there is not enough ink left (even one color), the printer does not print out anything until new cartridges are completely set. :( I hate this.
It has 5 colors and costs about $50+.... I really want to stop this :(

It's all about the type of printer you have. We researched the cost of printing and found Cannon, Ebson, or Brother to be the most cost effective. Personally, I have a Cannon all in one to use on those special occasions, and a small Brother b&w laser printer for everyday printing. It prints about 2000 pgs on 1 toner cartridge, for about the same price of your new ink carts. We got it on a sale and after a rebate for $39. If you are not able to afford a different printer, try looking for remanufactured cartridges on ebay--- I know some of them are not available, but it is worth a try!

Here's a solution that only works if you have a slow connection. You know how when you click print a screen comes up with small print on it? In that small print there is a link in the words "Having trouble printing?" or some other such words. If you click on it, it should print with no troubles. At least it always did for me. Try it!

I am having issues printing now. No problems for monthes before this, since we got this computer, but when it should come to sending the info to the printer it comes up with wanting my zipcode and some other script at the top of the page. Anyone else having issues. Nothing has changed with the computer since I last printed except some windows updates.

Hi. I wonder if anyone else is having or has had this problem: I have a Mac. I installed my coupon printer months ago and have been able to print them without a problem until now. I'm trying to print a coupon from coupons.com (I've been able to before) and it says the installer isn't installed. So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still says it's not installed. Does anyone know of anything else I can try? I have no idea why it would all of a sudden say it isn't installed.

I remember someone else posting about this. I never had any problems until I got a new laptop and it has windows 7. I tried to search for possible tips and the thread I saw BEFORE I got this new computer but I can't find it.
When I try to print from Red Plum (I can print from all of the other sites just fine) it says 'loading please wait' then nothing ever prints! Any help would be much appreciated.
