| | Re: Lobbying for double coupons I sent an e-mail to Copps when they first stopped doing the weekly doubles and moved it to monthly. I got some lame response saying that they were going to offer "better" deals to make up for the lack of weekly doubles. IMO, they have failed miserably at that!
I'm game for another letter! They didn't understand my plea that if they did monthly doubles, I would not be in the store weekly as I once was, and that it wouldn't allow people to match all of their weekly sale items to coupons. They don't have enough on sale once a month for me to really make it worth my while--I've probably only been in there once for double day since they decreased it!

It doubles your first five. |

I can say that once woodman's is finished being built here, they will be getting my business exclusively because of the way Pick N Save has behaved. Which gives them just a few months to pull it together, the way it looks. (i've been spying on the building when I drive past, it looks good!)
Wish I knew how to run a grocery store, there would be some good business for a competitor in Wisconsin, I think.
If someone with any talent for writing business letters would like to create something for us, I would be happy to print out a whole stack to share amongst people I know, and people they know etc. |

| | Re: Lobbying for double coupons I would send it and have at least 10 other coupon trainees that I coach that I could get to send it also. I dont have a super walmart yet so I dont have that yuccy walmart feeling too often, but I would rather spend my $$ anywhere but there.
Their 'Better' deals are those stupid 'buy 5 get a coupon for a dollar on your next purchase'. The first time I actually fell for that and did several of the deals only to find out they would only let me redeam 1 coupon per transaction. I did not know that up front or I would have split my order up. I could not get to the store 5 more times that week so ended up tossing those coupons. I complained at the service desk this week and they said I could redeam more than one at a time and that if I had a problem to have the cashier contact them. I didn't purchase any of their 'Deals' because Pig across the street had the same items on sale upfront, not using the stupid coupon on your next order.
Sorry about the rant.
I have only bothered with 1 Wed trip since they cancelled the weekly program. |

| | | Re: Lobbying for double coupons oh wow, I didnt realize that THOSE were also one per order, I remembered that the ones that were $/$$ were only 1 per order, that's just yucky, I was gonna do a couple of those deals this week - thanks for the heads up, we have a pig about 10 minutes from here, I might have to look at their specials while I am doing my list. |

| | Re: Lobbying for double coupons They told me that the computer only allows 1 per order, but the sale flyer states "$$$ Savings on your next order". So that is what I showed them and if I ever do the deals I will keep a copy of that with to show that it is on my 'Next Order.
The manager said they would contact corporate about that. Not holding my breath. |

| | Last Double Day I just called Copps in Appleton to make sure they are doubling coupons today since it's only -40 out and I have to go to town anyway to do my taxes...
The girl told me they are discontinuing it and she does not know why. But they are going to do it today, because apparently they told some customers that they would. So maybe certain stores are only doubling today and the rest are done. Do you think they'll come up with something different where it's actually a good deal to us?
This was the Copps on Wisconsin Ave I called. I would call ahead to make sure. Stay warm! |

Stated NO, that they have canceled the program. This is a YMMV situation. |

| | Re: Last Double Day I called all four of the stores I frequent, NO's all around. I'm angry, because there was a sign on one on Monday that stated Double Wed, last day of the month. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
