June 10, 2008 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Roundy's Chairman Bob Mariano Hits the Road for Five-City Tour Barbecue Bashes Will Feature $1 Lunches of "Approved" Roundy's Own Brand Products; Chance to Meet Chairman Bob, Star of TV Commercials Milwaukee - June 10, 2008 - Milwaukee, get ready to meet Chairman Bob! Roundy's is kicking off a five-city tour with Chairman Bob this Friday, June 13, with a barbecue event for Milwaukee-area shoppers at the Brookfield Pick 'n Save on 127th and Capitol from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. At the event, shoppers will be able to meet Robert Mariano, who serves as Chairman and CEO of Roundy's Supermarkets, Inc. and stars as Chairman Bob in the Roundy's commercials. Just in time for summer grilling season, Chairman Bob will be serving up $1 lunches featuring Roundy's own brand products that are perfect for at-home cookouts. Lunch options will include: a choice of Roundy's Select Italian sausage, fresh bratwurst or hot dog plus potato chips; Roundy's Select soda or bottled water to drink; and a scoop of ice cream for dessert. All proceeds from the Brookfield event will be donated to Brookfield Public Library. All who attend the event will also be able to participate in fun activities, including taking a spin art the prize wheel, striking a pose with the Bobtourage and receiving a free photo and magnetic photo frame, applying cool temporary tattoos, and coloring Bobtourage coloring pages. Throughout the summer, Chairman Bob will be making his way across Wisconsin and Minnesota to host barbecue events at Pick 'n Save, Copps and Rainbow stores. The proceeds from each event will be donated to local charities.
