I ended up with:
2 gallons of milk
4 oreos
8 boxes of Nabisco
4 Kraft cheese
12 malt o meals
2 24 packs of Coke
3 Dasani water
30 Powerade
6 Western dressings
10 Packs Klements brats
20 Sweet baby rays
40 Farmland sausage

All for a grand total of $28.xx. We are having a family cookout this weekend, and I am sending everyone home with sausage and bbq sauce.

LOL!! Truth be told, I actually planned the day around PNS. Oh my, that just sounds so wrong. See, I live in the middle of nowhere. The closest store to me in any direction is 25 minutes. So, I thought I would go the extra 5 miles in the other directions and hit up 3 stores, instead of having only 1. Oh, and I have 4 & 5 yr old boys to haul around with me. This of course is what makes it really fun!!

I woke up a little early and did my planning. I had 9 envelopes, wrote exactly what each order was going to be and stuffed it with the corresponding coupon. I figured this would get me in and out as fast as possible.

I packed us a picnic lunch and off we went. Hit the first store, we were actually in and out of there in about 30 minutes. Did three transactions and did self checkout. The kids love helping with this, and it's a nice little bribe for them to behave while we are shopping.

Then it was off to a park for a while. Let them play and burn up some energy. Then off to the next store.

In and out of this one in around 25 minutes.

Then back to another park, for picnic and some more playtime. When I broke it to them, just one more store, my five year old was not happy. But, once I told him I was taking them for ice cream at McDonalds (49 cent cones) afterwards he calmed down a little.

So, off to the last store. This time it took around 35 minutes, but still no problems, so I can't complain.

Then off to McDonalds for ice cream and finally home. All in all we were gone for about 6 hours. So really it was not all planned around PNS, ok yes it was, but we still had a lot of fun!!

tenderloin steak (1#) 5.51 (2.00 wt)
Smart Start Cereal 2.96 (3.00/2ip) tmf rebate on box
Smart Start Cereal 2.33
Bush Grillin Beans (2) 3.18 (3.18)
Western Dressing (10) 13.90 (10.00)
Coke 24 pack (3) 14.97 (4.00)
bread 1.99
Krunchers baked (2) 6.98 (4.00)
Krunchers (4) 10.00 (8.00)
Crest pro health 6.98 (6.98)
mushrooms 1.50
hashbrowns 2.50
Heinz 57 steak sauce 3.25 (2.00) tmf rebate on bottle
chex mix (2) 2.50 (2.00)
Bush grillin beans 1.59 (1.00)
lipton green tea 1.39 (1.39 catalina)

crest pro health rinse 3.99 (3.99)

oop $45.30

I also just did one, DH wasn't with (had to go to work), so I had to get in and out of the store as quickly as possible so I wouldn't have a panic attack. (I'm not missing doubles for anything lol!!!) OOP was about $24, got a whole bunch of stuff (i'll list later) and had a really nice cashier man, and the customer behind me was shocked with my total and was asking about it, so I told her about HCW and we were talking a little. I love those kinds of shopping trips, don't you all?

I am off to PNS tonight. I couldnt make the Wed double daze bc my son had baseball and after work and a game, I was beat. I plan on using some coups tonight and only buying things on sale and/or have a coupon for. We are out of groceries at home so I need to stock up. I have $2 off the 3lb brats which I saving till they go on sale.
I plan to use the cereal coups and they also have the Buy 6 @ Reg price and get $10 off whole bill and a free milk coupon? Does this mean no coupons can be used on the 6 boxes of cereal? If not, I can buy other boxes that I do have coupons for? With the $10 off, I can save that on the 6 boxes. Do I make any sense at all? :)
Please give me some tips and advice! Oooh and the self check out...I never thought of that so I can do more than one transaction without cashiers rolling their eyes.
So any help is appreciated.
