    FYI Every Wednesday

    WHAT: Double Daze

WHERE: Copps, Pick ‘n Save, and Rainbow stores

    WHEN: Wednesdays (indefinitely)

    HOW:

Customer must have a subtotal of $25.00 or more in purchases after store discounts and store coupons have been applied, but before tax.
    > Items such as gift cards, stamps, lottery tickets, bus passes, etc. do not count toward the $25 minimum purchase requirement.
    > You do not have to spend $25 total out of pocket after your manufacturer coupons have been applied in order to participate.
    > Some stores allow you to do more than one transaction, so you can split up a larger order into smaller transactions to get the most coupons doubled. This may vary by store. If you are planning on buying over $100 in items, you may be able to split your purchases up into 4 transactions to get a total of 20 coupons doubled (5 per transaction). If you do this, please remember to be courteous to other customers and employees. Some shoppers like to do one transaction at a time, take their purchases out to their car and come back in to do another. Others go at different times of the day. If you’re in an area where you can get to multiple stores throughout the day, consider this as a possibility.

Customer must present their store savings card.
    > If you don’t already have a store savings card, you can sign up for free at the customer service desk of your local store and get your card the same day.

Up to 5 manufacturer coupons with a face value of $1.00 or less will be doubled per transaction.
    > You can use more than 5 coupons in a transaction, but only the first 5 scanned will be doubled, so be sure to hand your coupons to the cashier in the order you would like them scanned. For example, if you have (5) $1 coupons, hand those to the cashier first so they will double to a total value of $10. If you instead were to hand over (5) $0.25 coupons before the (5) $1 coupons, the $0.25 coupons would double to a total value of $2.50. The register automatically doubles the coupons and begins by doubling the first 5 that are able to be doubled.
    > Coupons that say “Do not double” or something similar may or may not be doubled; this is up to the individual store or cashier as it is the store (not the manufacturer) that is picking up the tab for the doubled portion of the coupon.
    > Coupons are only able to be doubled up to the normal shelf price of an item. If an item is normally $1.49 and you have a coupon for $1/1, the register will only double the coupon up to $1.49, not $2. If a product is normally $2 or more, a $1/1 coupon can be doubled to $2.

Alcohol and tobacco coupons will not be doubled.

Expired coupons will not be accepted.

Cash back will not be given.
    > If your doubled coupons result in overage, make sure you grab some fillers to compensate for the negative balance.

~Occasionally when we’re really lucky, Copps, Pick ‘n Save, and Rainbow will have Double Double Daze where 10 coupons will be doubled instead of 5!~

I will only be online every few days, so I may be a bit slow to respond.

Default Question on double coupon at Copps

Can I get overage for double coupons?
e.g. price is $1, coupon is $1, can it double to be $2 and I get $1 overage without beeping? I know some other store like Sentry, they double coupon but the machine can only double up to the price of the products. Does Copps machine do that too or we can get overage?
    thanks
I have tons of SS and RP coupons to offer. Only $1.50, you will get a full envelope of great coupons.

lets say you have a $1/1 coupon.
So you walk up to a bottle of soda with your $1/1 and you see that it is on sale for $1 SCORE! now to answer your question, lets say the ORIGINAL price is $1.50, your coupon will only double to $1.50 not the full $2. HOWEVER lets say the ORIGINAL price was $2.50 then the coupon will double the full $2. I have never had a coupon beep, unless I handed them a coupon for something i did not by or a free coupon.

Double Coupon Re: Copps/PickNSave - Double Daze every Wednesday!

I heard from my store manager (PNS) that the last Saturday in June (26th), they will double 10 mfg. coupons and the fuel perks (at participating stores) will double. :hectic1: They will give you $.20/off per gallon of gas with $50 in cumulated purchases instead of the usual $.10/off per gallon of gas with $50 in cumulated purchases. I hope this isn't their "grand finale" for the end of the fuel perks (the store sign states it will end 7/10). When Fuel Perks first began in November, they were going to end in March, but they extended it to July. He said all the info will be in the ad that comes out for that date.

Oh goody. Thanks for the info. I hope they extend it too but a few of my local clerks didn't think that they would extend the FuelPerks program because it is through BP gas stations and they said that several customers had already told them that they refuse to ever go to a BP gas station again because of the oil spill. So I'm thinking that if customers are upset because the program is at BP gas stations only, then either they will have to find another participating gas chain to use OR they will just discontinue the program. I do hope that they continue it but I am not optimistic about it.

I'd rather they extend the Saturday doubling of coupons, but that probably won't happen. If we can continue to have doubling of 10 coupons about once a month that would be great!
