PNS - Rumors about competitor's coupons...?

There are rumors from a local source saying that this is the last week that PNS will accept competitor coupons too (Festival). Anyone have issues today doubling mfr Qs that said do not double? Grr.

Did the cashier say you couldn't double them or did the register not double them? Usually DND5s double fine, where as DND9s (or any Q that starts with a 9 - even without DND wording) do not automatically double.

As far as the competitor's coupons goes, I've never used a competitor's Q at PNS, so I haven't heard anything.

My PNS (Kimberly) accepts Festival Foods and ONLY Festival Foods Qs. It's just hearsay, but I was told they will no longer be taking them. So I have been talking with Piggly Wiggly to see what we can work out. I got them to consider doing the knife sharpening that Festival does once a year. And printing the Catalina deals that that they are aware of (I realize they get some heads up, but some are product specific to what you buy) on their site and maybe in their flyer. So we'll see. Maybe soon enough the Pig will be my go to instead of PNS. ??? I didn't actually go yet tonight to PNS. When lo goes to bed. :)
