I'm not sure, but it seems that they may have been told to not give the credit automatically and give it only if the customer says something about it. Hopefully they don't do away with the bag credit completely - Festival has been doing it all along even for paper bags and now Target does it too, I don't see how Pick 'n Save/Copps could stop unless the competitors do also.

I've started writing "BAG CREDIT" in large letters at the bottom of my shopping list so it's not as likely I will forget about it!
Thanks! I'm going to just tell them from now on! "Hi, I brought my own bags so please give me the bag credit" Up until this week I've always gotten it, but I'll just stop by the CS and double check first, just to make sure.
About the Perks deal, I am guessing the $ amount was raised on mine because last week it said I had spent over $100 something, even though after coupons it was $22. No one used the card to go shopping at all, except for me on Wednesday last week, and then again yesterday. I'm probably going to call CS but I don't know if the $1.50 is worth all the hassle. Thanks though for answering my questions!

about the bag credit...... i am a cashier at a copps and this week they said to us only give credit for bags used. so the cashier would have to do it at the end and i'm sure they forget by then. we would have some people come thru with like 10 bags and only use one but they would expect credit for all the bags. also apparently they can now detect fraudulent coupons when they are scanned they should ring up as saying recall or something like that. i havent run across any that rang up that way yet tho.

Well I went back to Copps yesterday to pick up something I forgot on Wednesday, and my $3 Personal Perks DID come off of this transaction.
I thought I met the goal on Wednesday after my last transaction - even though my reciept shows the spending is way more than I actually spent, I deducted my doubled Q value from that amount and I was still over the goal amount, and the $3 Perk did come off my next transaction. So, I think I've figured out how it works here at my store (I shop in Appleton), even though the amount it's tracking is off at the bottom of my reciept.

While checking out, the discount deducted as soon as I was over $3 in my transaction. On my reciept it shows at the end as "Coupon Personal Perks" and then the amount.

I'm sure next week it will bump up my goal amount though, since I met it this week!

Ok, so the perks show up automatically? I know I spent over $100 in 1 week so I should have $7.50 perks on there. (Actually, it was well over $300 before coupons) But I did spend $100 altogether. And my receipt didn't show anything and when I checked my card on the website, it won't come up.
If there are problems, I'm going right to customer service.

It seems like they really haven't worked all the bugs out of the perks program yet, but here is another issue that may cause you to lose your perks, as brought up in the thread about the new Roundy's cards...

Chellebelle7377 reported that the address attached to her card is an old address and the person currently living there is also listed under her "household". If you moved to a new place, and your card is still tied to your old address, the new person there may be receiving your rewards (or you might receive theirs...). Or it could be the other way around and you moved and have your new address tied to the card, but the previous owners/tenants still have their old address listed.

So anyway, I guess it just would be a good idea to check online or at the service counter the next time you're in the store to make sure that your address is current and that no one else is listed as being in your household. This should help avoid one reason why the perks might not be applied correctly.

Additionally, if you rent you should make sure that they only consider your unit to be one household. Otherwise (I doubt this would happen...) if they combine everyone in the building you may have a spending goal of hundreds or even thousands of dollars and when the goal has been met one person will be the lucky winner of a huge personal perk, while everyone else misses out.

Yeh, I have yet to hear back on the matter. Kind of strange. They have to assume people don't update their address on a club card, right? Not until something like this occurs. What are coupon checkout values? I have this deduction for $3.75 taken off of my total under paper coupons. It appears twice. How do they figure your Personal Perks amount you need to meet? An average of your hosehold spending? I wonder what the girl living in my old house spends LOL. Maybe whoever get's to it first gets the Perks!! I better beat her to it.

According to the Roundy's Rewards website, starting February 14th, you can check your Personal Perks balance on the website. Hopefully that means it will show you total spending (accurately) and what perks you've earned & redeemed.

Reminder: this promotion is supposed to end this week (4/17), unless they decide to extend it. I believe next week you will still be able to redeem the Personal Perks you earn this week.
