| Re: What's the deal with the new cards? I shopped at my PnS in NE WI yesterday morning and wasn't given a new card then. I'll have to see if I get one sometime this next week, I wonder what the difference between these and the old ones are (besides their look). I checked on the PnS website, and it still shows the old one - but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't update the picture on there for awhile.
I also noticed it says "Benefits included: ... Special Advantage Plus Savers Club holder mailings". Hmmmm, I have never received anything in the mail from PnS that wasn't a mass mailing to everyone in town and addressed to "current resident". |

| Re: What's the deal with the new cards? I haven't been to my PnS this week yet, so I don't know if I'll be getting a new card or not. But I did talk to my sister this weekend; she lives near Madison and told me they've had the black cards for a long time. From what I understood from her, they are Roundy's cards so they can be used at PnS and Copps (I know the old cards could be used at both too). I'm not sure if she meant they actually say Roundy's instead of the particular store or what. She did say they are poor quality compared to the old ones and that the barcode on hers wore off really quickly and the cashiers have to manually enter the numbers now.
Also, she said at her store you don't need to use your card to get the "with card" price - everyone gets that price now, with or without card. She said that the card is just used to keep track of things like the payback premiums and other promotions. Again, this is what my sister told me, so I'm not sure it is 100% accurate, but it does make sense.
Hmmmm... I guess I'll have to wait until I get mine to find out more. If they are really only going to be used for keeping track of purchases for promotions, then I hope they change the promotions so that you don't need to buy, for example, $35 in one purchase. It should be that they can keep track of the grand total and figure out how many premiums you earn that way. |

I'm in Madison and we've had these cards from the beginning of summer. The card says "Roundy's Rewards" not Copps or Pick N Save. And, she is right about the card tracking your spending. We don't need to buy $35 in one purchase, we need to buy $510 total before earning a $10 giftcard. For example, at the bottom of my receipt it says "You have earned $190.xx toward" whatever the reward is called. Same with the other deals we have going on for Kelloggs cereal and Yoplait yogurt (which I've heard is regional). No need to save receipts or vouchers, everything is automatically totalled and applied. I love it! |

I never have earned premiums from their promotions because I don't buy enough in any one trip, but now it seems I might be able to get in on the promotions - hopefully my 2 stores start using the new cards soon! |

| Re: PickNsave: What's the deal with the new cards? This is so curious, one day last Spring while shopping in Kenosha I stopped at local PnS. I was told card must be replaced. I was required to get black Roundy's card. I must use black card at Kenosha stores. DH/I still have old card (bluish/aqua color) & it works in all the other Wisconsin stores in the SE area. Just can't use old card in Kenosha stores. How about that?

How about that? | At the bottom of the RoundysRewards.com page it says:
Prices good January 31–February 6, 2010 at participating stores: Appleton, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Kimberly, Neenah, and Oshkosh.
This might be where the personal perks is currently. Who knows. Another thing, at the bottom of my receipt it says A Roundy's Rewards Card is Needed to participate in Personal Perks and Store Discounts. |
