QUESTION Copps/PNS Fuel perks - how does it work?

Okay, I get the part that for every $50 I spend (and it's pre-coupons too) I get $.10 of fuelperks rewards.

On my receipt it says I have $.30 total fuelperks. Does that mean I get $.30 off each gallon of gas I buy, or is it $.10 for the next three times I buy gas? How much can I save up? Can I save up my fuelperks and get $1.00 off of each gallon of gas? How long before they expire?

If anyone know the answers to any of these questions, I'd appreciate it! I can't find the rules anywhere.

Sorry, I have no clue - I never see any promotions like that at our stores. :( I'm going to go cry now... I want fuel perks that add up on my receipt and wait for me to use them!!

P.S. I googled. It's per gallon! I want one of those cards!!! I must go do more snooping!

Found an article about it:

Roundy's Supermarkets Inc. - Newsroom - Latest News - Copps & Pick 'n Save Introduce New Roundy's Rewards Card to Madison Customers

This answered all my questions! You can save up to $.40 at a time. It looks like it's just in 3 cities for now, Madison being one of them.

The checker at copps told me I could save up to$.70 a gallon, she didn't know what she was talking about. The expiration date is on the bottom of your crt . FYI I got a card at copps, but when I use it at Pick n rip my rewards still count, they just don't show at the bottom of the crt until I go to a copps again.

Hi I am a cashier at a Copps in the madison area. this is how it works.

for every $50 you spend(not including tax, cigarettes, alcohol and sushi) you earn .10 . so on your receipt it will say what you have earned today. what you have earned overall. when they expire and how much you have spent towards the next $50.
so for instance today i got gas. i had .70 that i had earned so far. so i got almost 20 gallons of gas at .70 less a gallon. now my fuel perks is down to zero again until i spend some more.
legally you have to pay at least .11 a gallon for gas. so you can get it down that low.
everything you earn in march expires at the end of may.

ahockeymom..... it should update right away no matter which store you go to. it should not matter what store you actually got the card at.

hope this helps somewhat. let me know if you have any more questions.

I didn't realize how valuable this card could be. I was told by a clerk that I and my wife had stored up a savings of $2.60 PER GALLON! So I went to BP today and used my Roundy's card, and indeed, the TOTAL for over 10 gallons of gas was $1.09! Man, I could get used to those rates! It's a great deal. I love Copp's.

My Piggly Wiggly does something similar. They have a section with different store items. Each have different Pig point values. Those points equal a certain amount of cents off per gallon of gas. I think up to 20 gallons.
