Awesome deal on the GM cereal! 1/21/09

I am so pumped about my run to PnS this morning. I basically got 14 boxes of GM cereal for $.75 apiece, plus 2 catalinas for a gallon of free milk up to 3.75! Here's the break-down:

- $10 General Mills promo sale
- (4) .75/1q for Kix and Multigrain, doubled
- $1/2q for Chex and Oatmeal Crisp, doubled
- $.50q Cascade
Total: 7.06

Transaction #2:
2 Cascadian Farms cereals @ 2.50ea.
1 Kix @ 3.59
2 Chex @ 3.25ea.
1 Yogurt Burst Cheerios @ 3.75
2 Cheerios @ 3.45ea.
Subtotal: 25.74
- $10 General Mills promo sale
- $1/2q for Chex, doubled
- $1/3q for any GM, doubled
- (2) $1/1q's for Cascadian Farms, doubled
- $.75/1q for Kix, doubled
Total: 6.24

So for 13.30, I come away with 14 boxes of cereal, a few grocery necessities, and 2 coupons good for a free gallon of milk on my next purchase!

Great Job Cherryblossum! I did the cereal deal today too - I thought they had great sales this week. I did 4 transactions including the cereal deal, got lots of the BTFE items and few $1 items. The $3.75 milk CAT I used on my 4th transaction and it took off the whole $3.75 even though my milk was only $2.39 - not sure if it was supposed to but that's how it rang up. I spent $46 over the 4 transactions, but stocked up on many things - plus got 3 of the 50 Bonus Box Top certificates!

i did quaker deal today too. according to my ad for 1/22 we get the GM deal this week......start planning!

I did pretty good tonight, had b2g1 and 1/1 GM cereal coupons. the cascadian granola bars had $1/1 peelies on them. It was great!

Exactly, kimfn! I've been doing my grocery shopping at WM the last few weeks b/c there was nothing exciting to lure me into PnS. But this week I got a "grocery high" from all my savings! LOL Now let's just hope they keep the deals and savings rolling!
