    Default Granola Bars

    1/2 cup butter
    1/4c corn syrup
    1T water
    1/2T vanilla extract
    1 c QUICK oats
    2 c old fashion oats
.5 c oat flour (from quick oats put in my food processor)
    1/2 c brown sugar
    1/2 c white sugar
    1/2t Cinnamon
    1/2 c chocolate chips
    1/2 c sliced almonds
    1/2 c coconut
    set oven to 350
Melt butter add corn syrup, water and vanilla set aside
Mix rest of the ingredients in large bowl
Add wet to dry and mix well with wooden spoon
spread in greased pan (I used a glass pan this time 15x10 I think) and really press down on them. Bake for 25 minutes or until edges are slightly browned. Put on cooling rack for 10 minutes. cut bars with bench scraper BUT Leave in pan when cool remove from pan.

If you use all quick oats the bars will be more condensed and the opposite if you use all old fashion.

Thank you! I might give this a shot to keep hubby happy till I can find another bar deal. Seem to be running short lately.
