Poor Man's Turtles

Has anyone else ever tried these????
OMG!!! They're great!!

POOR MAN'S TURTLES

1 large bag of small, round pretzels
7 to 8 packages Rolo candies
1 (16-ounce) bag pecan halves

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Lay out pretzels on ungreased cookie sheet.

Place a Rolo on top of each pretzel.

Place in 350 degree F oven for 4 minutes. Remove from oven.

Place pecan half on top and press down a little. Cool and serve.

They are good but I am the only one eats them in our house so usually I buy a small thing of pecan halfs and just one roll of rolos and some pretzels and just make a few.

They sound good I have a variation

using my cheap carmels and free morsels.

Take 4 pecan halves(got free from a pecan tree on neighbors property) and lay on cookie sheet (lined with tin foil free from Walgreens)

place 1 carmel on top of feet( 90% off after halloween but free with overage from coupons)
put in oven on 350 till carmel melts over pecans
remove from oven
while still very hot
place 1 1/2 tablespoons of semi sweet morsels (free with coupon and sale at Kroger) on carmel and let melt
You can spred the morsels with the back of a spoon to cover the carmel.
Let cool.
Eat while Kids are at school and hubby is at work.
Make second batch to share later.
