I know I have a ton of Excedrin from CVS and I am sure many of you do too. There is a form to fill out and you need to send the product back for a refund but I am not really sure if it is one form per product or per person or what.

I am going to try again in a couple days. I am sure their lines are flooded today. I have 10 bottles total of this stuff. If anyone finds out how they want multiple requests handled (multiple forms? mailed together or separately?), please post. Also about half of mine are normal size bottles the other half are 8 ct Excedrin. I am wondering if they are even taking those back. I think the shipping would be more than the retail price.

There was a recall on some sort of stomach product about a year ago (I think it was Rolaids soft chews?) Anyway I had a TON of that stuff! I called the company and they sent me out a postage paid mailer and I sent everything back. A few weeks later they cut me a check for over $100-so definitely worth sending every last pkg back, IMO.

okay I spoke to novartis. They are taking back the 8ct as well as the more normal size product. You have to fill out one form per bottle being sent back but they said I could mail all ten of mine in one box and I would still get $2 per bottle returned for shipping and handling as well as the retail price.

I recceived an automated call from Smiths and it said I could bring it back to the store and they would refund me. I've moved since then, so I hope Ralphs will take it back also.

I'm impressed that a store did this. I know long ago at Kroger, info was printed at the bottom of my receipt about a past recall (think it was ZonePerfect bars), but I've been to many stores this week and have not seen anything on current receipts.

Thanks Amanda. I also discovered yesterday that it's a little cheaper to print a shipping label with postage from home than to pay for postage at the PO (priority mail).

So you get $2.00 per bottle reimbursed for shipping and handling or just a one time $2.00 fee?? I was taking as just $2.00 period as this is what there website states:
A one time $2.00 shipping reimbursement will be included with your refund

I have 16 bottles to return and I know it will cost more than $2.00 to mail all of those! Also did they say how much per bottle the refund will be? I know there are different sizes but didn't know if someone asked what each bottle was worth??

Oh and is the refund just for full bottles or can you get compensated for bottles that are not completely full??

I finally got through to Novartis and they are only refunding $2.00 PERIOD for shipping. It is not $2.00 per bottle. That stinks for me as I have a total of 18 bottles to return!!

You are able to return any unused portions as well and get a refund for those as well.
