(Recall) Norvartis Recalls Bufferin, Excedrin, Nodoz and Gas-X

Has anyone received their refund back yet? Just wondering if they are refunding without any problems or if this may be a hassle.

I got mine today. They sent .99 each for the 8 ct size and 4.59-5.99 for the 20-24 ct depending on variety. It came with a list showing all ten bottles I sent and what they were paying out for each and they paid for my actual shipping ($5 in a small flat rate box). Norvatis seemed to have a lot of confusion in the beginning but in the end I think the recall was handled well. Certainly much better than JJ/McNeil did with the children's zyrtec/tylenol recall a couple years ago where I had tons of hassle to get my money back.

I received my refund this past week. It was aggravating to have to send my stockpile of Excedrin tension, especially shipping since had to remove from original boxes etc to try to get into a flat rate envie do reduce the cost. But I do have to say they handled it very well and they stand behind their word!!! Bravo Norvartis!
I still have a stockpile of tylenol in the back of the closet that was recalled and I never received my refund for them. I now know why McNeil had everyone tossing the bottles rather than mailing them, this way they could just ignore everyone and they'd have no proof they put in the claim.

I didn't even know anything about this until today when I went to buy some at Wal-Mart. Why in the world are they still distributing coupons when there is no product on the shelf? I ended up having to buy the generic version.

Wal-Mart didn't say why it was recalled so I read what was in the link in the first post. I only have a partial bottle but I'm not going to worry about. The caplets are coated green and say Excedrin on them, it would be very easy to tell if the bottle contained anything else.

I have not received mine yet. I didn't mail my stuff out until probably a week or more after the recall procedures came out. Hopefully any day now...

I received my check last week. I think it was $117 and they even rounded up the postage amount. Very happy with the way they handled everything.

Got my check today, $51.32, including $5 for shipping.

I mailed mine out about 1-2 weeks after it was announced. Del conf shows it delivered 1/21.

Got my check Saturday 4/7. They rounded my $9.65 postage to $10 (and I had gotten del conf and sent priority so I wasn't sure if they'd cover it all). The "prices" they attached to everything is right on with what I expected. I had estimated I would see $125 check and it was $131.21. And given how long normal TMF rebates take of 8-10 weeks, and how widespread and vast this recall was, I'm surprised it hasn't taken longer.

Very happy with the handling of all this, I will remember Novartis when chosing who to buy from in the future.
