Self tanner-any recommendations?

This weekend is my DH's holiday party for work. I just bought a really cute strapless red dress but I look really pale in it. I haven't used a self tanner since high school and the one I used then made me orange

I have no clue what brand to use. I just want a little color, nothing fake looking. Any recommendations on a good brand to use?

I am so scared I am going to turn orange!!!

I use jergans self tanner moisturizer but it's gradual so you would need to use every day between now and the event and it would only be a shade difference - but that is the part that I like about it!
