Thumbs Up Love, love, LOVE these crockpot liners!!

This week I purchased a lot of whole chickens. I cook them in the crockpot, take off all the meat and vacuum seal/freeze it for future meals. Also make soup stock with bits of chicken and strained/fat removed liquids from the deal.

BUT - the Reynold's crock pot liners are fantastic!! No cleaning of the crockpot, only the lid needs cleaned after that messy process And since I'm doing back to back chickens (on a mission to get several cooked up this weekend), I found that I can use one bag twice without a problem! Empty the one chicken and liquids, toss in another and keep going

Absolutely love those things! Best 'new' item in my stockpile recently and will continue to watch for sale/coupons!

If you've never tried them, and you love to use your crockpot but hate having the manhandle that heavy crockpot in your sink as you try to clean it, these liners will make you want to crockpot EVERY meal

Disclaimer: I do not own stock in Reynolds and I don't have any connection to anyone in that company. I just love the product

I was wondering how these hold up. I have about 10 boxes at the snack shack that they tried to use in the cookers a few months back before I started running it. The cookers get much hotter than crockpots do and the bags do not hold up. I was going to toss them because they do not work in the cookers. I think I may bring them home and try them then. Thanks for posting this.

The newer crockpots run at a higher temp (on low) than the old ones from years ago, and I've used them on both low and high and they work great. I am sure the industry grade cookers are way beyond the heat range these bags were meant to be used with.

I know you'll love them in your slow cooker though What a joy not to have to wrestle that large pot in/out of a sink that isn't big enough to hold it level!

And I don't know about anyone else, but I've noticed that the newer crocks that come with the slow cookers don't have the density of glaze my old ones did, they refuse to come clean completely, there is always a 'shadow' mark left behind, no matter what I use to clean it with and no matter how well I scrub it So the liners remove that problem too!

I loved these with my older crock pot. My new one is Teflon and is a cinch to clean. It just wipes out. But, just a tip, SAMs has these in their members mark brand in a box of 100. I can't remember the price but i wanna say it was around 10 bucks. They r bigger than reynolds and work just as well.

Thanks for the heads up! Except we haven't had a membership there in years and years. And we let our BJ's go too recently. Only one we have left is Costco and that's because of the tire prices, can't be beat for some of our vehicles.

I love them too but I couldn't find them anywhere for a long time. I finally ordered a lifetime supply from a restaurant supply store and now of course I am seeing them everywhere!

I've used those a few times but somehow there is always still juice in my crock and I still have to wash it.

Maybe I should try double-bagging but that seems wasteful.

I will see a little condensation sometimes left in the crock, but no leaking

What I've learned is that once I have the lid on, I lift the excess bag up all around the lid so that any steam that collects will drain back down into the crock pot - otherwise I find little puddles outside the crockpot .

My husband tore one of the bags getting something out but he was using a two pronged meat fork I make sure whatever I use to get the food out isn't going to poke a hole in the liner.
