    I have never tried it because I don't need to. What I do is empty the crock pot and fill it up with hot water and dish detergent. Put the lid back on and let it soak for a few hours or overnight. It unglues the mess and only takes a minute to wash. Very easy and not much to it. I have been doing this for years and it is no work.

    I used to do that too but many times I've cooked overnight and can't leave the sink filled with the crockpot all day

    Like this weekend, I cooked 5 whole chickens back to back, that crockpot was not off all weekend And I was able to use the liner twice in a row as well, held up beautifully so that was nice!
