Has anyone used Quibids.com?
I have a friend who just purchased something from the site and wanted to know some more about it... If there are ever any catches. I've never used it myself, but I checked it out and the deals there almost seem too good to be true. I know these kind of auction sites are popping up a lot lately.
Any one have any insight/experience they could share?

read all the details about how to bid..they maybe penny auctions, but every time you or some one else bids it increase by .6 cents and other than that you have to be glued to the computer for hours bidding to win your item

Also most of those you have to pay a fee for the "reward" of getting to bid. On one of them I saw it was 5.95 every time you had the "priviledge" to bid, no thank you but it might be for some. I watched one a few years ago to see how it worked and one auction can go on for HOURS with a new bid and then the time starts over until someone doesn't bid again. I gave up and wasn't going to do it anyway, just curious.
