Re: Pillsbury Cresents Pizzas
I've rolled up some chocolate chips in them, then baked. I think I got this idea from a package maybe, but it's a quick fix for a "chocolate croissant" craving! :)

Re: Pillsbury Cresents Pizzas
We make a hot sandwich from them.
Turn oven on to pre-heat to 400 degrees. Saute a medium onion, sliced, until the onion starts caramelizing, then add in red and green bell pepper sticks and cook until the peppers start to look cooked and be a little soft. Set aside off the heat. Roll out a roll of crescent rolls on a lightly floured sheet of foil or wax paper on the counter and then stick them together where they're scored to part to make one sheet. I usually use a rolling pin to roll it out to about one wax paper width by two wax paper widths long. I think the original recipe I had said use a roll of pizza crust, but we like the crescent rolls so much better. Layer the the crescent roll sheet with a thick layer of thinly-sliced roast beef from the deli, or with packaged sliced roast beef. Layer that with thinly sliced mozzarella cheese or shredded mozzarella to your family's taste. We like a lot, so we just use slices. Finally, layer the onions and peppers on. The wax paper or foil under all is not absolutely necessary, but will make it much easier to roll the whole thing up along the long side so that you end up with a roll about two wax paper widths long. Bake at 400 degrees I think about 20-25 minutes. Honestly, I just smell that yummy crescents-are-ready smell and pull it out, but probably if you look at the pack and see how long it says to cook the crescents. Everything else that needs cooked in the sandwich is cooked before you put it in the oven.
