(recall) Jose Ole Taquitos products

Some Jose Ole products have been recalled, mostly beef and steak Taquitos. This is due to a recall of TVP (textured vegetable protein) which is an ingredient. I believe it was possibly contaminated with salmonella.

Thanks SO much for the link to this recall. I know many of us have bought these recently at Albies and have a freezer full! I asked Albies today regarding recalls and they just said to bring the product back (with or without a receipt) for a full refund. Should be pretty simple!

Great. I got these at Albies too, but we already ate all 4 boxes. Well, it was more than 2 weeks ago, and we haven't gotten sick.

Is that what we're supposed to do is just bring them to the store?? Or is that what your store is doing?

I think it's whatever your store is doing. I would call before you go up there to see what they say about it.

My store said this is what everyone should be doing. Then the store either ships them back or destroys them- whatever the manf. has asked them to do.
