Default Gamefly - reviews anyone?

Do any of you have a gamefly subscription?
We have had netflix for 2 years or more and LOVE it. We have saved a ton of money from not using the movie rental places anymore.
I would like to subscribe to Gamefly for my children, but wondered if anyone had used it and liked it? Loved it? Hated it?
I hate paying a fortune for games that they are tired of after a long weekend of playing it. We don't live close enough to a gamestop or any other store that we could find cheap games at, so that's not really an option.

If you have used Gamefly can you get more than one game platform at a time? For example if you get the 2 at a time plan can you rent one PS2 game and one XBOX 360 game?

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

I had it off and on for my son for a long time. He loved it. I got a few different "free trials" and then signed up under mypoints or other things to make it worth it.

The customer service was always awesome and we never had any issues with them at all.

To answer your question, yes you can (at least you could) rent games for two different platforms. We had a ps2 and a ps and a gameboy advance and rented games for all 3.

Yes, I've used them for years. They're great. You can absolutely rent games for multiple platforms on the 2 at a time plan. They also rent handheld games for the DS and the PSP (movies too for this one). Gamefly has literally saved us thousands. Games are expensive... even used and a lot of them don't quite live up to the hype so it's wonderful to have a resource where you can rent whatever you feel like playing without having to make that financial commitment.

What's also nice is that if you do decide you like something enough to buy it you can just buy it directly from Gamefly with their keep it feature which almost always amounts to at least a 20% discount off of the retail price and they send along all of the original packaging and manuals for you so it's essentially just like buying a brand new game. I don't remember the last time I didn't rent something before buying it.

They also take trades and apply the credit toward the cost of your membership so, if you have games laying around that aren't getting played you could trade them in and get yourself a month or two "free."
