Opinions on Swiffer Wet Jet

I have been wanting one forever however I have been hesitate to purchase one they are rather expensive.:sad:

Those of you that have tried them are they worth the money?:shrug7:

Oh yes. I love mine. I have lower back problems so had issues with mops. I use this with no problem at all. Best investment I've made. Am actually thinking of getting the newer model they have out and use the old one for the basement.

I just got a steam mop and love it! We have a 2200 square foot home with only two bedrooms that are carpeted and the rest is tile/hardwood, I got a new eureka enviro steam mop off ebay for 60$, the best thing about them is that they use only water to clean and the resuable washable pad, they are awesome and no harsh chemicals either and no throw away pads or cleaning solution either. There is also a highly rated one called steamfast you can order at walmart.com for about 45$.

I hate them. The only thing I have found that works is an old fashioned mop and bucket and of course hard work. The other ways to me are not cleaning very well. I am a fanatic about my floors they have to stay white all the time. I mop at least once a day or more if needed.

I have a Bona mop system and I like it a lot better than my old Swiffer. This has reusable/washable microfiber pads for the different jobs, so you aren't having to go out and buy the disposable refills. Good on your wallet and the environment, too. I got mine at Bed, Bath, and Beyond with a 20% off coupon.

I have a reg. mop and a Swiffer and if you only need a light cleaning the Swiffer works fine but if you want a good cleaning its not the best... the handles tend to be weaker because of the seams in the handle and I think the cost to replace the cleaner is too high as well... so when I am really wanting to get a great cleaning on my floors I use my mop and when its a lighter type job like my kids have tracked in mud.. I go for the Swiffer. HTH!
