Recall Voluntary Recall On Nestle Refridgerated Cookie Dough

saw a glimpse of a report today on CNN and looked on their site:
Refrigerated Cookie & Brownie Dough - NESTLE VeryBestBaking.com

I have not had a chance to read all the info, but I know I have 2 sitting in my fridge right now from a recent Publix BOGO sale, so I am sure others do too. Mods- if there was a better place to put this recall- please let me know or move the post for me. I tried to go to announcements forum, but it wouldn't let me post there. Thank you so much.

UPDATE:
I just spoke with someone at Nestle- I asked if I wasn't planning on eating it raw- is it safe then- they advised me against "consuming the product at all at this point in time". So I will be returning the 2 packages I bought and planned to bake for Father's Day.

Thanks! We have already eaten 2 packages, but I still have 2 left in the fridge from the last B1G1 sale. I checked the UPC's on the website and they are included. I will be returning them. I'm assuming you don't need a receipt??

We just baked 3 of our 4 packs yesterday. I was eating one as I caught a glimpse of this post. Think I'll go throw up now...

Just saw this on the news in California for the first time. Thought I'd bump it up for any who missed it.

I don't think you need a receipt. Any stores that carry these products are required to refund/replace them without any questions. I would call the store to double check though and make sure they came from the same place! LOL!

I chowed down on this (raw) the night before this recall came out. I didn't feel so good after that!

Any one know if there is a date range on these? I bought a bunch of them back in Feb or Mar and put them in the freezer. We have eaten them several times and had no problem. Is it all dough or just ones from recent dates? I can't seem to find an answer on the website.

I received an auto msg from kroger by voice mail last night. They said to either bring in receipt or product. I will tell you I have about 25 pkgs in the freezer all with various dates. I was told when I called CS to just bring in the receipts no need to bring in the product. and it is all refrigerated lines of cookie dough. Looks like I should be receiving 57.05 ;). Unless they give me price after q's then it will be 10 and some change.. either way I love their product and I will be glad when they get it straightened out.

We had them for breakfast the day of the recall.. go figure !!!
