I like the convenience of these and imagine they would be awesome for anyone who has to cart their laundry out to be done. I thought they got our clothes really clean and the scent was fine without being overwhelming. However, my experience has been on the other end of the spectrum than a lot of yours - I actually cut my sheets in half or 2/3. I don't know if it's my water or what, but if I use a whole sheet I get a lot of soap residue. I obviously like that better because I can make them go further.
I like to use the "cloth" as a swiffer-type duster after they have been used up in the wash.
That is a great idea I hadn't thought of - will definitely give it a try.
