Softsoap Ensembles opinions?

All Couponers probably have tried Softsoap Ensembles liquid Handsoap by now. I am curious about what you all think about it.

I got two pumps and both pumps seems to have broken by now. They hardly stay put on the base how much ever we try. I do not see these pumps handling more then couple base switching as they advertise.

For the price, it seems like a waste of money. It was a good idea but quality seems fair. The handsoap itself does not seem any special compared to regular handsoaps.

For me it is a thumbs down. What about you?

I haven't tried mine yet but the idea of changing the base as opposed to the pump seems weird-not only do the pumps break more frequently than a base but a majority of germs would be on the pump instead of the base. SO I would think you'd rather ditch the pump.

I think it was good to get free.

I wouldn't pay a lot for it. It's a very small amount of soap for a lot of money.

For the deal mine was okay. I don't think I would buy it without the deal though...for the sstated above. I don't see that it it all that. You can buy other hand washes for cheaper that you don't have to worry about the germs on the pumps. Just toss.

I like them. I have had one in both bathrooms, since the first CVS deal and only 1 has been been used up.

I havent had any of the issues listed below.

Good to see the comments. I agree that for the price they charge, there is very less soap. I have many bases accumulated from CVS sales but I might not be able to use them as the pumps are broken. I may just buy one more to use up all the bases if the next pump stays.

About the germs comments, I guess pumps could be just washed thoroughly with water for each base switch or even in between.

I just bought this for deals sake.

I put my Softsoap pump in the kitchen. There is less traffic there, so I have not had a problem with the pump breaking.

I don't have a strong opinion, with the coupons, ECBs and rebate, they paid me to take it anyway.

But I wouldn't buy it full price or even a regular sale.

I agree that it is to pricey for what you get. I don't think it's a very "green" product either. I plan to refill the base instead of buying more. That is if the pump holds ups. My husband loved it and the soap.

I would NEVER pay 6.00 for a thing of hand soap!! EVER
But.. when Target paid me 2 bucks to take it from them, I jumped ALL over it!
Its just soap, its going to be used!
I havent used it yet, were still using our foaming softsoap! the kids FAVORITE!!!

My issue is that everytime I go to press to get soap out, the whole thing falls over - like it is top-heavy or something. Also, totally over priced. If it wasn't for CVS's deal I would have never purchased it.
