Default Pillsbury Savorings--Whadja think?

So I figure many of us have been getting these things lately since the stores are practically giving them away. I tried the buffalo chicken ones today for lunch for the first time. I got my 5 boxes because I am having a small party in about a month. I am glad I tried these things first!

They're really greasy and the grease on the baking sheet was smoking and made my whole house stink. At least I have plenty of Glade and Febreze stuff to cover up the smell

I wish the stores around me would lower the prices so I could try them....very expensive even at the SuperWalmart with coupons. Guess the picture on the box didn't reflect the taste huh?

Did you cook your in a toaster oven or a regular oven. I did the spinach ones in a toaster one and they also smoked so much my smoke detector kept going off and scaring the dog. The spinach ones didn't smell--just smoked.

they haven't been cheap enough here to risk trying yet either...might hold off even longer if they smoke.

The directions say to spray the pan with no-stick and they're baked in a 425 deg. oven. It's puff pastry (lots of butter/fat) and puff is normally baked at 350-375 deg. I'll try again at the lower temp/no grease and report back.

We had a good deal on these at GE, and I had catalinas to burn, so I bought a couple boxes to try and ended up buying at least 3 or 4 more! I love the spinach ones, and the pizza ones aren't bad either. I have a box of the buffalo chicken, but haven't tried them yet.

I had no problems with smoking or anything - but I made them in a regular oven, on aluminum foil on a baking sheet (I hate greasing pans...lol I'm lazy and just use foil)

I would never pay regular price for them (4.29 for 12 at GE) but for about 1$ a box I stocked up a bit. Definitely a splurge for me, but I just love spinach and filo dough - just never found a recipe to make them myself.

I haven't been able to find these in any of my stores were do you find them? Are they located with the regular biscuits or with the freezer items. I've looked at Albertson's, Smith's and Super Walmart.
