I got 2 free bottles of Pert Plus recently by matching the insert coupons that were out with a sale. I got 2 bottles of the "Simply Fresh with invigorating methol". I guess it's the menthol that's in it - but it turns my head numb for a little bit while washing! The feeling goes away, but it's very strange! So if the opportunity comes up again, I wouldn't get this particular kind. So I'm looking for opinions from other people who have gotten Pert Plus. Which kinds do you like? Thanks in advance for your help!

ewww @ numbing scalp! i got some for free a while ago, but we havent used any of it yet! thanks for the heads up onthe "numbing sensation" before i let my kids use it! i'll have to use it first so see how it is ----if it turns out we cant use it, my friend mary loves it!

I like the tingling shampoos. My sister gave me a salon one years ago. Don't remember the brand but think it had tea tree extract and dh and I loved it. Anyway...
I haven't tried the Simply Fresh yet, but grabbed it to wash ds's hair the other day and he didn't say anything about his scalp being numb. I'll have to ask him. I didn't even read that it had menthol in it...ooops...

So far, I've just used the Revive & Rejuvinate, its with lavendar botanicals and its ok. Since its a 2-in-1, I also use a little bit of extra conditioner, whatever I have in the shower. I use Happy Medium for the kids.

I love the Revive and Rejuvenate but not to wash my hair with. It makes the best shaving cream for my legs. Usually after I am done shaving I have to bathe in lotion and use lotion repeatedly for the rest of the day. If I use that particular kind of Pert Plus I only have to lotion once. It's great.

I bought happy medium for hubby....no complaints from him, and I thought it smelled really good too, I plan to buy more when I find a deal that makes it almost free.

I don't really care for Pert Plus. No matter the formula, it makes my scalp burn and sting. It also never seemed to really condition my hair, it'd be stiff and brittle and hard to brush later.

Anything that makes the scalp "tingle" is usually bad, as it can irritate the scalp and cause dry flakes that some confuse with dandruff.
