I use canned baked beans as a base for homemade barbecue beans. We tried Southern Pit Barbecue and Smokehouse Tradition. Using the same recipe, the Smokehouse won hands down at my house. Southern was not bad, just tangier. If you have plenty of coupons, I would recommend getting one can of each flavor to see which suits your family's taste.

I made the Southern pit BBQ for Memorial day today and I thought they were OK. Everyone else said they thought they were good. I think I will probably like the other flavors better though.
