Our Moderator of the Month for the month of December is..... Elle-Tn!
Lori joined HotCouponWorld 11/16/2007. She became a moderator in December of 2010 so I think its pretty cool that she became mod of the Month on her one year "mod anniversary".
She moderates the auction forum and we love her for it. As you auction regulars know, it can get crazy in there!
Lori posts in many others areas of the board as well, so many of you probably know that shes super sweet and always willing to help!
This winter she helped out with our Holiday Programs, doing what was needed with Secret Santa, and also playing a HUGE roll in the Holiday Helping Hands program. She was the driving force behind all of those great coupon clipping services auctions and put tons of time into making that happen so we would have those much needed funds. She also, of course, helped keep all of the auction posts and additions up to date. I cannot stress enough, that this program would not have been all that it was this year with out her contribution.
~THANK YOU!!
Heres a little more about our mod of the month.

Little Known Factoid I'm really not that interesting of a person LOL. I'm a stay at home mom that does a little free lance work to earn a little extra money. My boys play basketball and my daughter is a cheerleader and a dancer. I am always on the go with the kids and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Favorite Money Saving Tip Well, my idea money saving idea would be to stash away the money I save through coupons into a savings account for something fun. Reality is that I coupon out of necessity which means that I wouldn't be able to buy a half of what I do without the coupons.
Budget I shoot to keep my food, cleaning, and HBA purchases to $400 a month. Some months are better than others.
Stores I shop I mainly shop Kroger with coupons as I can double unlimited up to .50. I buy my meats at Food City due to the fact that they are high quality but cheaper than Kroger. I like to shop Target and CVS
for the deals. I try not to shop WalMart & only Walgreens as necessary. I love JCPenney!!
Coupon Organization Method I generally use the binder method but for quick trips I pull the coupons I need and use an envelope.
Best Advice to Newbies My best advice for new couponers is to pick a store and learn the ins and outs of how the coupon game works there. Once you've mastered that, choose another. Since each store has different policies on coupon redemption, it is less overwhelming to tackle this way. Don't go in thinking you are going to build a huge stockpile overnight or save a bazillion dollars, take baby steps and celebrate the small victories.
