Moderator of the Month for September 2011 is Wookin!

Wookin joined Hotcouponworld at the very beginning on July 10, 2006. She does a wonderful job co-moderating the Publix forum. June works very hard bringing Publix members the best deals by diligently posting the weekly ad previews with coupon match ups, monthly flyers and coupon booklets along with her co-moderators.

June is also a Coupon Database Editor, and moderates the Inside Package section of our Hotcouponworld Coupon Database. She has always been an active contributor to our database by adding the numerous Publix booklets and flyers that come out on a regular basis.

Also an avid trader and shopper, June uses her couponing skills to help others in her community with her generous donations to her local food pantries. She sets a wonderful example for us all.

Favorite Money Saving Tip

When you find a great sale on items you use all the time, stock up and use coupons. It may cost you a bit more now but you will save tons in the long run.

Budget

I really don't have a shopping budget. I spend more some weeks than others depending on the sales.

Stores I shop

#1 store is Publix (of course), Kroger, Walmart, RiteAid, and occasionally Walgreens and CVS.

Coupon Organization Method

When I first started couponing I used the binder/baseball card holder method. Way too much work cutting, sorting, filing and keeping up to date for me. Now I keep my inserts together and cut as I need them. I have a small coupon holder that fits in my purse. I put a store name on each tab and file the weekly coupons for each store behind their respective tab. When the coupons are gone, I'm done shopping. Um, that never happens.

Best Advice to Newbies

If you miss a deal don't worry about it. There will be another one just around the corner. Every dollar you save with coupons is a dollar you didn't save before couponing. Remember it's not a good deal if you buy something you won't use just because you had a coupon.
