Laura joined HotCouponWorld March 27, 2007. Seems to me like she has been modding here for almost that long! She moderates the Smith's Food & Drug Forum and does a fantastic job of it! She gets the ads up every week with the great deals & coupon matchups and also posts all of her coupon finds and promotions.

She is also a database editor for the site. As you can imagine, keeping the database current and accurate is a huge task and she is one of the few that makes that happen including adding tons of coupons to the database & posting them in the "coupons by source" forums.

Laura is also a fantastic trader. She has made over 300 trades all with great feedback. Keep her in mind when you are looking for some coupons, because she is very easy to trade with.

We can also always count on Laura to come up with a great video for all of the fun & crazy contests posted on here.

Hmmm.... My grandma still clips coupons for me and sends me full envelopes weekly. She's a huge influence on my couponing!

Favorite Money Saving Tip

You need to figure out what you spend, so you know what a deal is.... I have so many friends who ask advice, but have no clue what something costs (they just buy it if they need it). If you can get a good deal on something you use often, buy as many items until the net cost is the cost of one at regular price.

I don't currently use a grocery budget.

Coupon Organization Method

I use a binder for clipped coupons, and I file whole inserts in file folders in crates.

Best Advice to Newbies

Start with a few deals. Add more deals as you get more comfortable so that you don't get confused at the check-out.
